Adding a bank connection

A bank connection is NoCFO's most important automation tool. Once the connection is added, the app automatically fetches your transactions directly from your bank, and the AI creates a booking suggestion for every transaction.

Adding the connection

Go to Settings → Bank connections and integrations → Bank connections  and select your bank from the list.

Log in to your bank as usual and grant permission to fetch transaction data. Depending on the bank, this permission is valid for 180 days going forward — once it expires, it needs to be renewed.

Finishing the connection

Once the connection is established, choose two things:

Accounting account — the account to which entries made from bank transactions are booked, for example 1910 Bank account.

Sync start date — the date from which transactions are fetched. If you only want future transactions, choose this date. If you want all transactions for the accounting period, choose the first day of the accounting period. Transactions can be fetched a maximum of 365 days back. For some banks, this window may be even shorter.

Holvi account

If you use a Holvi account, see the separate guide — adding a Holvi connection follows a different process than other banks. → See the guide: Adding a Holvi connection
