Flagging a transaction and the transaction log

Last updated About 1 month ago

Every transaction's three-dot menu (...) has, besides Lock/Unlock and Delete, two lesser-known actions: flagging a transaction and a transaction-specific log.

Flagging a transaction

Choosing Flag transaction adds a flag icon next to the transaction in the transaction list. This is a handy way to highlight a transaction you want to come back to later — for example an unclear entry that needs checking. You can remove the flag from the same menu under Remove flag.

The Log tab

The transaction's Log tab shows a chronological history of everything that has happened to the transaction (creation, flagging, edits), along with who did it and when.

On the same tab you can also comment on the transaction and mention another user by typing @ followed by their name. This is useful, for example, when you want to ask a colleague to check an entry.
