Setting up e-invoicing and sending an invoice as an e-invoice
Last updated 17 days ago
An e-invoice is an electronic invoice that transfers directly into the recipient's system. It is practically the standard for invoicing between businesses. In NoCFO, e-invoicing is activated once in settings, after which you can send and receive invoices as e-invoices.
Activating e-invoicing
Go to Settings → Invoicing and collection → E-invoices and click "Enable e-invoices". NoCFO automatically creates an e-invoice address for your company.
Note: If you already have an e-invoice address in another service, close it first before activating this one. Otherwise some invoices may be routed to the old service. If activating e-invoicing fails and your company's e-invoice operator ID is 003723327487, your company already has an Apix address in use in another service — ask your current service provider how to close it.
Sending an invoice as an e-invoice
You can send an e-invoice once an e-invoice address and operator ID have been added to the contact. You can find the recipient's e-invoice address at verkkolaskuosoite.fi or by asking the customer directly.
Create the invoice as usual, and at the sending stage select e-invoice as the delivery method. The e-invoice address is retrieved automatically from the contact's details.
Receiving e-invoices
Received e-invoices appear automatically in the Invoices section. The invoice shows the PDF and the payment details. When an invoice is paid through the software, it is marked as paid automatically. An invoice can also be marked as paid manually by the user.
