Consumer e-invoice

Last updated 17 days ago

The consumer e-invoice lets you invoice private individuals directly to their online bank. It differs from e-invoicing between businesses: setting up consumer e-invoicing requires a separate agreement with Apix and the consumer activating it in their own online bank.

Requirements

Before setting up consumer e-invoicing, make sure e-invoicing is activated in NoCFO. → See the guide: Setting up e-invoicing

Opening an e-invoice agreement with Apix

E-invoicing is set up by submitting the following documents to Apix via their support request form:

  1. SOP1 — E-invoice service agreement (downloadable from Apix's website)

  2. SOP2 — Establishing the customer relationship

  3. A copy of the signatory's ID (passport, ID card, or driving licence)

  4. Trade register extract

  5. Information on whether the company has had e-invoicing in use before

  6. The company's account number in IBAN format

The signatory of the agreement must have signing rights for the company. Processing time for agreements is typically 1–3 weeks.

Sending an invoice as an e-invoice

Once the agreement is in place, create the invoice as usual and select "Letter or e-invoice" as the delivery method.

The first invoice is sent to the customer as a letter containing an Apix identifier. The customer enters the identifier in their own online bank to activate e-invoicing. After that, the customer receives invoices directly in their online bank.
