Reports

Last updated About 1 month ago

The Reports section is where you find your company's financial reports. You can find it in the left-hand menu under Reports.

Report types

You can choose which report to view from the dropdown at the top:

  • Income statement

  • Balance sheet

  • General ledger

  • Journal

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • VAT reports

  • EC sales list

Expanding and collapsing rows

Click a single row to expand or collapse its sub-rows. The arrow icons next to the header row (top right) let you expand every row at once, all the way down to individual vouchers (voucher number, date, debit, credit and balance), or collapse them all.

Filtering by tags

The All tags menu lets you narrow the report to only show figures related to the tags you choose (for example a cost centre or a property).

Choosing periods and comparison columns

Each column has its own period, which you can choose from the arrow in the column header. The options are:

  • Whole history

  • This month

  • This year

  • Current financial year

  • Previous financial year

  • Custom — a freely chosen date range

The same menu also lets you add a column before or after the current one, rename the column, or delete it. This lets you build a report with several periods side by side for comparison — for example the current and previous financial year next to each other.

When the report has two or more columns, Show comparison turns on automatically and a Change column appears between them, showing the difference between the columns. The change can be shown either as a Sum (in euros) or as a Percentage.

Exporting a report

Use the Export menu to export the report in the following formats:

  • Export PDF — the full report as a PDF file

  • Export condensed PDF — a condensed version as a PDF file

  • Export CSV — the full report as a CSV file

  • Export condensed CSV — a condensed version as a CSV file

AI-powered quick questions

Above the report you'll find ready-made Luca AI questions that help you quickly interpret the numbers, for example:

  • Why did the result rise from last year?

  • Which expense grew the most?

  • Summarize the income statement

Clicking a question makes Luca answer directly based on the figures in the report you have open.
