Setting up the Kravia debt collection service and sending an invoice to collection

Last updated 17 days ago

NoCFO's debt collection service is provided by our partner Kravia. The debt collection service is subject to Kravia's own terms and conditions. More information about Kravia's services is available at fi.kravia.ai.

Setting up the debt collection service

1. Start the activation

When an invoice's due date passes, a "Send to debt collection" button appears on the invoice. The first time you use it, this starts the Kravia activation.

2. Customer due diligence

Setting up the service requires customer due diligence information. NoCFO does not store this information in its own system — it forwards it directly to Kravia.

3. Sign the agreement

Kravia sends a signature request by email. The signer must have the right to sign on behalf of the company. Read and accept the terms of use and Kravia's contract terms.

4. Activation complete

Once the agreement is signed, you can send your first invoice to debt collection.

Sending an invoice to debt collection

Before starting debt collection, it's worth sending the customer a friendly reminder by email — debt collection is not meant to be the first step. If you've sent a reminder and payment still hasn't arrived, click "Send to debt collection" on the invoice.

Tracking the debt collection process

You can follow the progress of debt collection directly in NoCFO on the invoice's timeline. More detailed information about Kravia's actions and the messages it has sent is available in Kravia's admin panel, which you can access through NoCFO. Using the admin panel requires a one-time registration.

Bypass payment

A bypass payment means the customer pays the overdue invoice directly to you while debt collection is in progress. In this case, you must record the bypass payment in NoCFO so Kravia is informed of the payment. Note that even if the invoice's principal amount has been paid, the customer still owes late payment interest and collection costs — debt collection does not end automatically after a bypass payment.
